Photoshop Dreams
It really bothers me that, in the same way as one might think "CTRL Z" when they drop a glass on the floor, another virtual-world-feature has pervaded the way my brain processes reality: I am having Photoshop dreams. This is not to say that I'm dreaming in 2D. I am actually dreaming in three dimensions, with the option of organizing objects on layers. The layers can be turned on or off, just as in Photoshop. This makes it possible for more than one object to occupy the same space as another object. As an example I will use my dream from last night. I dreamed that my car had been vandalized and/or stolen. I went to look for it and I became dizzy when I saw that where I had parked it, there were now thousands of cars occupying the 50 feet of road where my car had been. All of these were Priuses, not my Saab, but that is irrelevant. Someone had left all the layers on and my damaged vehicle was impossible to find. So now, not only do I stare at Photoshop all day long, but my personal subconscious metaphors for a broken existence in overcomplicated city hell will now be filtered though the screen of Photoshop.
