Bougainvillea

When it rains you can see the colors of the bougainvillea are so much brighter
On a sunny day the happiness is a white-out and you don't see the bougainvillea
The bougainvillea are memories from childhood
The sun is the star that will go supernova when you die
Childhood is remembering to play when you don't know where you are
or where you're going
The shiny future is the driver of the light
The future is the supernova
And it's not the light that's bright
It's the bougainvillea.
